D.A.N.C.E. Empowerment is a non-profit organization that utilizes dance and performances to keep kids off the streets, drug-free, in school, and away from the gangs and violence.
With hundreds of performances and thousands of classes conducted each year, we incorporate a physical, educational, social, and character building curriculum to edify and prepare students to become leaders in their community.
Through our program we are able to bring a positive message to our students and to the community through our public performances. It is our hope that the opportunities and training that are offered will open doors of creativity and fun for all. We hope that experiences gained will have a positive influence in the life of each student and that they will in turn influence others in a positive way.

We offer different teams at different experience levels. Any student with no prior dance experience should start on the Training Team. If you have some experience and love to perform, you can try out for our Show Team class. If you are an experienced dancer and would like to take your dance skills to the next level , then M.A.D. Rebelz (ages 5-11), or Iconic Troupe (ages 12-17) is where you belong. If you are not sure where you fit best, please come by and one of our Instructors can help!
We also offer different teams at different experience levels for Adults. Any student with no prior dance experience should start on the Training Team. If you have some experience and love to perform, you should try out for our Show Team class. If you are an experienced dancer and would like to take your dance skills to the next level, then our Vibe Quest team is for you. There is a soft audition to be on the Vibe Quest team.
Our fitness classes are designed to give you the push you need to help you reach your fitness goals. We focus on a fun way to exercise using great music, cardio, flexibility, and stretching to burn off those unwanted calories. (Note: This is not a CrossFit style fitness class.)
If you are interested in any of our dance or fitness classes, we welcome you to come try 1 free class before signing up. (Only available for new clients). If you are a returning student, please call or text us to confirm your attendance in one of our classes.
Through our dance program you will:
1) Know standard 8 count used in dance routines.
2) Identify beats of music
3) Choreograph a Hip-Hop dance routine
4) Count music
5) Identify body movements
6) Distinguish between Hip-Hop, Breaking, and Popping
Through our workout/exercise programs you will:
1) Perform workouts to support your fitness goals
2) Be in a supportive environment!
3) Gain knowledge of proper workout techniques
4) Hear great music, which helps you push through any workout!
